Siedel's Barbershop (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates this website at siedels.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how it's used, and who it's shared with. We keep it short because there isn't much to say.

Booking Appointments

When you book an appointment through this site, you're redirected to Square — our booking and payment platform. Information you provide to Square (name, phone number, email address) is collected and stored by Square, not us. We access that information only to manage your appointment.

Service Recommender

The “Not sure what to book?” recommender on the homepage sends your typed query to Anthropic's API to generate a suggestion. The text of your question is transmitted to Anthropic for processing. We do not store your query on our servers, and no personally identifying information is required to use it.

• Query text is sent to Anthropic and subject to their privacy policy
• Queries are not logged or stored by Siedel's Barbershop
• The recommender does not collect your name, contact info, or location

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. Vercel Analytics is privacy-focused: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint individual users, and does not collect personally identifiable information. Data collected includes page views, referrer, device type, and country-level location.

Payments

Siedel's Barbershop is a cash-only shop. No payment information is collected, processed, or stored through this website. Gift cards, when available, are processed through a third-party provider and subject to their terms.

Contact Form

If you submit a message through the contact form, your name, email address, and message text are sent directly to us. We use that information only to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list or share your contact information with third parties.

Third-Party Links

This site links to external platforms including Square, Google Maps, Instagram, and Facebook. Clicking those links takes you to their sites, which have their own privacy policies. We're not responsible for how they handle your data.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
